Heartbrkkidd is an 18-year-old self-described Hip-Hop Indie artist from Minnesota, having garnered over 200k streams on Spotify in just six months without outside promotion. And for good reason.

With a sound reminiscent of Juice WRLD meets Indie Rock influences, the young artist’s Emo-Rap lyricism and production picks up where the legendary late artist left off. Stand out tracks including “DIFFERENT” and “MIND GAMES” utilize acoustic guitar and trap beats to create a unique and haunting sound that I can’t get enough of.

As of now, Heartbrkkidd is yet to release a full length EP. But when he does, I know I’ll be streaming it nonstop. Solely based on the 12 singles that he released on Spotify in 2020 alone, it’s clear that Heartbrkkidd is something special. To say I’m impressed with this young artist’s style, cadence, and production is an understatement. Poised for stardom, he is definitely one to watch in 2021.
