Artist Spotlight: Juke Ross

Perry Avgerinos

The youngest of 14 siblings, from the petite country of Guyana in South America, Juke Ross continues to protrude from the masses in his new surroundings in New York, living out his dream. The med school dropout found his calling in singing, songwriting, and producing bone-chilling pop soul ballads, reminiscent of his Caribbean heritage.

The natural pairing of his guitar and his honest spirit, resulted in "Colour Me," which silently erupted on digital platforms, igniting his full-time career as a recording artist in 2017. Shortly following, Juke signed to Kygo's Palm Tree Crew, performed at sold out venues, and stepped out of his comfort zone by beginning to collaborate with other artists which further accelerated his growth within the industry. Juke most recently gifted us with the acoustic version of "Drifting Apart," off his latest album, touching on his growth from navigating through relationships and finding himself along the way.

Although he's been drifting apart from others, he's got us gravitating towards him, and his sound, leaving us hanging around for more.
